Our team

The LA.TE. ANDES team is made up of geologists, scientists, and engineers specializing in geochronology, thermochronology, and paleomagnetism, with more than two decades of experience in mineral and hydrocarbon exploration.

Our professionals combine the use of high-precision equipment—laser ablation and mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) systems, Raman spectrometry and Autoscan for fission track analysis, as well as a cryogenic magnetometer—with the geological interpretation of the results to transform analytical data into thermal histories and reliable models.

The laboratory also draws on a team of external advisors with experience at institutions such as CONICET, companies in the oil and gas sector, and internationally renowned universities specializing in thermochronology, ensuring the scientific validity of every analysis conducted under our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
